| Well... another year has come and gone, surpringly quickly. I'm
actually not too sure that this year even happened. Too much happened
but at the same time nothing at all. Here is a run-down on all of the
things I will miss and always remember as my sophomore year of college.
MEMORIES
- Movie nights with Natalie
- My insanely small room... seriously, insane.
- Long Loooooong bus trips to Mississippi with some of my favorite people ever.
- Becoming an honorary Herrle
- Cleaning Jim and Billie Maynards house
- Phan Shin and free movie rentals
- Tuesday, thursday, thursday nights at the 9er
- watching Lost and pretend i know whats going on
- two words... slam jam
- writing angry letters to certain high ranking miami faculty members
- talking to luke on the phone and thinking he's at his house and turning around to find him standing at my door
- playing piano in kumler chapel at two in the morning
- spending WAY to much gas filling up Big Momma
- two trips to KCU that were far too short
- LVB concerts
- arguing over the validity of cheerleading
- makoto salad dressing and on the border salsa
- spice girls dance parties
- Market Street at McCracken
- falling in love.... aww... so corny
So thats some of it. I know it means nothing to you guys, but some day
i will nostalgically read this list and tear up. Please, tell me your
memories....

| Well hello.
How
lovely of you to stop by. Well not much new here. Um... i got a movie
gallery card this weekend. Sweet... i know. I played Oregon trail last
night so that was fun. I had a test today. That wasn't so much fun. I
have two tests tomorrow. I'd rather talk to you guys than study though.
I miss you all so darn much. If you attend KCU I would REALLY love to
come down and see you guys not this weekend but the next (Apr. 6-8?) Is
there anyone I could stay with? Also, i had a new project idea last
night in my half-sleep state. I want to put on a street fair uptown in
Oxford to bring together the students and the community members. Since
there is so much tension between the two groups I think a healthy
solution would be to bring everyone together in the park with food, a
live band, maybe a raffle ;). I would call it the Unity Festival and I
think it would open up conversation between the two cultures. And thats
always a good thing. SO ANYWAYS!!!
Things I'm happy about:
- 5 weeks of school left
- Camp is right around the corner
- Visiting KCU
- Going to NC with the silliest/smelliest boys I know (and Lisa Q ;) )
- Angie Diss is coming to visit
- After tomorrow no more tests for quite a while
- Chorus concert (featuring you know who with a solo)
Missions for my readers:
- Sing the quiet song to someone who doesn't know it
- Drink milk... its good for your bones
- Pray for my Grandma... she had her esophagus removed... mmm
- Go to http://www.agelessentertainers.com/vote_now.htm
and vote for my dad, Thomas Cox... he's starting a stand-up comedy
circuit and needs your votes to win the competition!! He's funny, you
can take my word for it.
Well guys... i miss you all and love you more than all the tea in China. Till next time...

| Oh... hello there. I wasn't expecting anyone.
Its
been awhile, huh? Allow me to tell you whats been going on. Presently,
I am eating a delicious dinner of a low-fat brown sugar and cinnamon
pop-tart. But thats not what you came for.
Lately,
I've been obsessing about the future... i know, not characteristic of
me at all, right? Well, my latest endeavor is to open my own
coffeehouse. Many of you have had the pleasure of visiting Kofenya in
Oxford. I recently met up with the girls who own it and found out a
little about how they came to be baristas. I would really love to open
my own place. It would be THE place to hang out. I would invite local
artists to play and display their work on the walls, and maybe even
sponsor a little league team. My future children could work there...
and I wouldn't even have to pay them! I found a location in Greenville,
SC... which is just minutes away from a house that I plan on buying in
Easley, SC. I told you I'm obssesive! The best part about these plans is
that they are going to change. Gods plans for me are so much bigger
than I could ever plan for myself... and I'm learning to be excited
about that. Its nice to not be neurotic. I'm learning to go with the
flow and live day by day. Seize the Day... VERBATIM! (aww... luke...).
In other news, I find myself very content for the first time in quite a
while. I saw Ginny Owens (at Kofenya actually) over the weekend and it
put me in a good mood. I hope that you're all doing well. Please call
sometime and we'll have a real life conversation.
Shoutouts:
-
to Frank--- I hope your leg feels better fast.
-
to Benny Bear--- I promise I didn't give you strep... I hope you feel better too
-
to Niki--- Yeah, LITs... its gonna be awesome!
-
to Clare--- can't wait to see you this summer!!
-
to Kells--- what can i say... its gonna be great
-
to Aaron Herrle--- where's beef?
-
to Shawn--- i miss you friend...
-
to Big Mama--- i promise i will fix you soon.
Missions: You are all responsible for completing these:
-
Try to touch your tongue to your elbow... right now... go!
-
Smile for 16 seconds... it'll make you feel better
-
CALL ME!!!
-
If you post a comment (which you better), recommend a name for my coffeehouse. Maybe I'll name a drink after you.

| I feel like updating. Actually i just DON'T feel like doing my
homework. So i guess i will share whats up in my life. Not a whole lot
actually. Taking way too many classes than I would like to be taking,
including a religion class, whose basic mission statement is to
discount the Bible. SO thats frustrating but it keeps me on my toes.
ALSO, I'm learning a lot about being a big girl for the first time
ever. Career options and what to do after college is ALWAYS on my mind.
Things that stunk this week:
- Having my tips stolen from work
- Mass homework
- Way too short weekend
Things that are making this week bearable:
- Nightfall with TAIT and Joe White (awesome)
- revisiting my old jock jams cds
- my chitty chitty bang bang soundtrack
- the prospects of meeting the legendary Steve-O Maynard this weekend
- perfect-timing voicemails
Thats about all for now though. I miss and love you all SO much! I hope we meet again... preferrably in the VERY near future.

| Hello Again!
I would just like to say that I am an EXTRAORDINARILY happy girl.
Yesterday was quite possibly the worst day of my academic career. where
does the happy come in you ask? Well, I have just been surrounded by
amazing people the whole time. I saw at least 15 people yesterday that
I knew and actually stopped and talked to at least ten of them. It was
great! I even ran into Win Clark and Dave Smetana (OBF Staff)... so
that was cool! Plus, today, it was my boss' birthday, i got to see the
amazing Barb in the bookstore, and I got to do yoga!! God has blessed
me with so many amazing friends and mentors. Plus, I'm just happy for
other reasons which some of you already know about. But yeah, and Dan,
if you're reading this, I hate you for not working in the library cuz I
have class in there 3 times a week and i miss ya! i love you guys and
would love to talk to you. Holla!
513-470-6484... I'm still here.

PS- There are so many people in this world who don't really know just
how highly I think of them... you are most definitely one of them!
